Charlie Updates: The Collection
December 8th, 2007

Hello everyone,

Just a bit of news all thanks to Erin and Rhonda. It seems Charlie will be in a new production titled “The Collection”…

Source: Whats On Stage
Young Stardust screen star Charlie Cox and Richard Coyle (pictured) will join Tara Fitzgerald and Timothy West in a double bill of two Harold Pinter one-act plays, 1962’s The Collection and 1963’s The Lover. According to today’s Daily Mail, the new production - directed by Jamie Lloyd, who had a recent hit with Pinter’s The Caretaker at Sheffield Crucible and the Tricycle – will open at the West End’s Comedy Theatre on 29 January 2008 (previews from 15 January).

In The Collection, adapted by Pinter from a television play, Harry and dress designer Bill, who share a house in Belgravia, are disturbed by an anonymous phone call from James, whose model wife has confessed to a one-night stand with Bill. In The Lover, a husband and wife (Coyle and Fitzgerald) use the fantasy of infidelity to spice up their romance, but the charade spills over into real life.
